KAMMERERITE is a chromium-bearing variety of Clinochlore with a rich purple or magenta color, sometimes combined with green or gray-green Serpentine. It is a soft stone, with a hardness between 2 and 2.5, and a monoclinic crystal structure. The most significant discoveries of Kammererite have been in Turkey and India.
