AZURITE is acopper carbonate mineral with a hardness of 3 to 4. Its name is derived from its deep azure blue color. Its crystal system is monoclinic. It is found in Australia, China, Chile, Russia and the USA. Azurite powerfully stimulates the third eye chakra. It is a stone of inner vision and can be used for the enhancement of dreams and the development of psychic powers. It can stimulate intellect as well as intuition, and can aid the assimilation and retention of new information and ideas.
